Ron McCulloch

Ron McCulloch

Consultant Podiatric Surgeon, Director & CQC Manager

Ron is the Principal Consultant Podiatric Surgeon and Director of The London Podiatry Centre. Over many years as a specialist podiatric surgeon, he has performed thousands of successful foot operations. He holds Master’s degrees in ultrasound and in cryosurgery for Morton’s neuroma, and has specialised in the condition for over 25 years, successfully treating thousands of patients.

Ron has held specialist NHS posts at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and at Lewisham Hospital, and served as a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at London’s Homerton University Hospital for over 10 years — the official hospital of the London 2012 Olympic Games. He also worked as a Consultant Podiatrist at the Olympic Village during the Games and has extensive experience in sports medicine. He continues to provide podiatric care for several Premier League football teams and has consulted for Arsenal FC for over 25 years. Ron has also consulted for Nike at their headquarters in Oregon and has mentored and trained many podiatric surgeons who have since progressed to senior roles in leading London hospitals.

He lectures nationally and internationally and has helped develop podiatry in the Middle East, particularly in the surgical management of the diabetic foot. Ron is a senior lecturer in ultrasound studies at Queen Mary University of London.

Recognising the close relationship between foot conditions and gait abnormalities, Ron established a state-of-the-art gait laboratory at The London Podiatry Centre. It is one of the most advanced dedicated podiatric gait analysis facilities in the world and enables precise diagnosis of a wide range of injuries.

Nutan Shah

Nutan Shah

Clinical Operations Manager & DPL

Nutan brings a wealth of experience to the team, underpinned by a distinguished career in elite sports medicine. She has served as a podiatrist to the England football team and has worked extensively with both international and national-level footballers. Her specialist input has been instrumental in supporting the medical needs of numerous Premiership players, and she has played a key role in managing podiatry-related aspects of high-value football club contracts.

Although she is not currently practising in a podiatric capacity, Nutan oversees the day-to-day operations of the Centre from our off-site office. In this strategic role, she works closely with the Director to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business, drawing on her clinical expertise and operational insight to support the Centre’s continued growth and high standards of care.

Pablo Ferrer

Pablo Ferrer

Senior Podiatrist

Pablo graduated from the prestigious University of Barcelona in 2001 and brings over 20 years of experience in both the private sector and the NHS. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Podiatric Medicine (PG Certificate in Podiatric Theory from the University of Brighton) and in Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound for Podiatrists (Foot and Ankle) from the Centre for Ultrasound Studies at Bournemouth University.

Within the NHS, Pablo held an Extended Scope Practitioner position at Homerton University Hospital, where he was responsible for the management of complex biomechanical cases.

Over the years, Pablo has developed extensive expertise in podiatric sports injuries, biomechanics, and clinical gait analysis. He also maintains a strong interest in the diabetic foot, particularly in the treatment and prevention of associated complications.

Pablo has treated professional athletes across a wide range of sports, including tennis, golf, track athletics, and Premier League football. He continues to provide regular podiatric care to several Premiership football teams, including Crystal Palace FC.

He is fully trained and experienced in the use of diagnostic ultrasound for the foot and ankle.
Pablo has also spent many years assisting our lead podiatric surgeon in theatre, gaining valuable experience in podiatric surgery and perioperative care.

Luke Planter

Luke Planter

Senior Podiatrist

Luke is a highly skilled and dedicated podiatrist at The London Podiatry Centre, where he plays a key clinical role and also assists Mr McCulloch in theatre during surgical procedures. His broad clinical expertise spans a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions, with particular interests in podiatric surgery, biomechanics, diabetic foot care, sports injuries, and minor surgical interventions, including the treatment of ingrown toenails.

Luke’s academic achievements include a Postgraduate Diploma in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery and a Postgraduate Certificate in Podiatric Sports Medicine. He originally qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatric Medicine from the University of East London, undertaking his clinical training in some of the UK's leading teaching hospitals and institutions.

Having worked across both NHS and private healthcare settings, Luke brings a well-rounded perspective to patient care. He is known for his methodical approach, clinical precision, and commitment to ongoing professional development, regularly attending courses and conferences to ensure his practice remains at the forefront of the profession.

At the heart of Luke’s approach is a strong emphasis on patient-centred care. He values clear and open communication, taking time to ensure each patient feels informed and confident in their treatment plan. His warm, approachable nature combined with his technical competence ensures patients consistently receive the highest standard of care.

Christopher Joyce

Podiatrist

Christopher holds a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Galway, an MSc in Rheumatology from the University of South Wales, and a Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound for Podiatrists qualification from AECC Bournemouth.

With over 10 years of experience in all aspects of podiatry, Christopher has developed a particular focus on musculoskeletal medicine, including paediatric conditions.

He currently works in the NHS as an Extended Scope Practitioner in Rheumatology and Paediatrics, where he diagnoses and treats a range of rheumatological and complex biomechanical cases.
Christopher holds his clinic at The London Podiatry Centre on Saturdays.

Arya Mohan

Arya Mohan

Clinical Biomechanist

Arya is a Clinical Biomechanist with a background in Sports Science and experience across clinical, performance, and research settings. She has worked with Adidas as a Senior Biomechanist, delivering advanced running assessments and athlete-focused workshops, as well as with a specialist run studio in Scotland and sports science company in Belfast.

She is skilled in the use of VICON motion capture, force plates, EMG, and pressure analysis systems, and has worked with clients ranging from elite athletes to individuals with complex musculoskeletal conditions. Her expertise lies in athlete profiling, gait and movement analysis, and translating biomechanical data into tailored rehabilitation and orthotic solutions. Arya also supports Ron McCulloch in developing specialist services.

A certified Functional Movement Coach, she brings a holistic approach to performance and rehabilitation. Outside of work, Arya enjoys weightlifting, hiking, cycling, swimming, and running. She is also a professional musician, playing the flute.

Patricia (Tricia) joined the practice in 2018 and brings with her a wealth of experience gained from many years working as an administrator within both the healthcare and insurance sectors. Her deep understanding of our industry, coupled with her exceptional memory for detail, makes her an invaluable member of our administrative team.

Highly knowledgeable about our services and processes, Patricia is adept at problem-solving and is always willing to go the extra mile to assist patients and colleagues alike. She plays a key role in helping patients book the most suitable appointments based on their presenting condition, ensuring that each individual receives the right care from the right clinician. Her approachable nature and clarity of communication make her a reliable first point of contact for queries regarding our treatments and specialist services.

In addition to her front-of-house responsibilities, Patricia is a trained Podiatry Assistant and at times undertakes elements of our gait analysis pathway — including patient set-up, data capture and initial processing — using our clinic’s specialist equipment. She works to established protocols and under podiatrist supervision to ensure accurate, high-quality assessments that support diagnosis and treatment planning.

Nina brings a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge to her role at The London Podiatry Centre. With a strong background in healthcare administration, she plays a vital part in supporting the Director and contributing to the smooth operation of the Centre’s day-to-day activities.

Highly familiar with a wide range of clinical procedures and operational practices, Nina supports both the clinical and administrative sides of the business. She is responsible for maintaining accurate clinical notes and provides secretarial assistance to the Director, ensuring that internal processes run efficiently and professionally.

Nina is also actively involved in patient communication, regularly handling phone enquiries and providing informed, friendly support to patients regarding appointments, procedures, and general queries. Her understanding of practice protocols, health and safety standards, and broader operational requirements allows her to contribute meaningfully to the Centre’s compliance and quality assurance.

Whether she’s helping with administrative tasks, sharing her procedural know-how with the team, or making sure patients receive prompt and attentive service, Nina approaches everything she does with care, precision, and a genuine commitment to maintaining high standards.

Karen has been a valued part-time member of The London Podiatry Centre for over 20 years, making her one of our longest-serving and most knowledgeable team members. With a deep understanding of the Centre’s operations and values, she plays an integral role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

As a key administrator, Karen’s responsibilities primarily involve patient-facing tasks such as handling incoming calls, booking appointments, and responding to general enquiries. Her calm, friendly manner and wealth of experience make her a reassuring first point of contact for many of our patients. She is highly familiar with the full range of services offered at the Centre and is adept at guiding patients towards the most appropriate appointments for their needs.

Karen’s longstanding commitment to the Centre and her extensive knowledge of its systems and protocols make her a cornerstone of the administrative team. Her reliability, professionalism, and supportive nature contribute greatly to the welcoming and efficient service we strive to provide.

Originally from South Africa, Nakita brings a rich and varied background in the commercial sector, with experience spanning business ownership, bookkeeping, and human resources.
Since joining The London Podiatry Centre in January 2024, she has supported the financial operations of the clinic. Her attention to detail and commitment to maintaining robust processes contribute to the efficiency and reliability of the Centre’s back-office functions.

In addition to her finance responsibilities, Nakita is involved in the Centre’s marketing activities, assisting with the coordination of digital content, social media, and campaign planning. She plays an active role in shaping communications to ensure they remain clear, consistent, and aligned with the Centre’s values, while also supporting patient engagement and brand presence.

Nakita also contributes to HR-related tasks such as recruitment coordination and administrative support. Working closely with Nutan from the Centre’s offsite office, as well as directly with Ron, she supports various operational aspects of the business. Her varied skill set and adaptable approach allow her to assist across multiple areas of the practice, contributing to the Centre’s continued growth and development.

Originally from Mauritius, Karine brings warmth, empathy, and a caring nature to her role in healthcare administration. Working part-time on reception at The London Podiatry Centre, she is often one of the first friendly faces to greet patients, providing a welcoming and supportive presence.

Karine also assists with a range of basic administrative duties, contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Whether she is handling patient bookings, managing enquiries, or supporting the clinical team with general administrative tasks, Karine carries out her work with reliability and a genuine desire to help others. She is trained in our gait analysis pathway and, when needed, helps the team with patient set-up, data capture, and initial processing using our specialist equipment — working to established protocols and under podiatrist supervision.

Having relocated to England five years ago, Karine is fluent in French and brings a valuable multicultural perspective to the team. She thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys being part of a close-knit and supportive team where patient care is the priority.

Outside of work, Karine has a keen interest in photography, fashion, and dance, and is an enthusiastic football fan. Most importantly, she cherishes her role as a parent and finds great fulfilment in spending quality time with her children. Her caring personality, combined with her diverse background and strong work ethic, makes her a valued member of the team at The London Podiatry Centre.

Samantha draws on her background in teaching and administration to provide dependable, behind-the-scenes support that keeps the Centre running smoothly and efficiently. From South Africa, she brings a calm, organised approach shaped by experience across sectors—including work as a remote PA.

At The London Podiatry Centre, Samantha’s responsibilities include processing gait analysis reports, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information, and assisting with compliance and quality assurance. Her practical, systematic way of working supports on-time report delivery and dependable record-keeping.

Samantha also lends flexible support to the wider team, taking on additional tasks for finance and marketing as needed. Reliable, adaptable, and collaborative, she is committed to helping patients and colleagues alike by making sure day-to-day operations run seamlessly.
