The London Podiatry Centre supports elite professional footballers, consulting for Premier League teams, and has previously consulted for the England national team. Footballers often present with foot and lower-limb issues driven by biomechanical imbalance; our in-depth, computerised gait analysis underpins accurate diagnosis and treatment.

We manage conditions such as ingrown nails, hammertoes, Morton’s neuroma, hallux rigidus, plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinopathy. We also treat problems linked to foot structure, including medial tibial stress syndrome, iliotibial band syndrome, patellofemoral malalignment and back pain.

We have worked closely with football boot manufacturers—including Nike—to optimise boot design and advise on player-specific boot selection. Boot modifications are carried out in-house, and fully customised boots can be arranged.

Our Consultant Podiatric Surgeon, Mr Ron McCulloch, has operated on international players, helping them return to full performance.
