Ron is the principal Consultant Podiatric Surgeon and Director of The London Podiatry Centre. During his many years as a specialist Podiatric Surgeon, he has performed thousands of successful foot operations. He holds Master's degrees in ultrasound and cryosurgery for Morton's neuroma and has specialised in the condition for over 25 years. He has successfully treated 1000's of patients with Morton's neuroma.
Ron has held specialist NHS posts at Guys and St Thomas' and Lewisham Hospitals. He was a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at London's Homerton University Hospital for over 10 years , the official hospital of the 2012 London Olympics. He worked as a Consultant Podiatrist at the Olympic Village during the 2012 Olympics and has extensive experience in sports medicine. He continues to provide podiatric care for several premiership football teams and has consulted for Arsenal FC for over 25 years. He has consulted for Nike, at their headquarters in Oregon. He has mentored and trained many podiatric surgeons who have been promoted to senior positions in some of London's most prestigious hospitals.
He continues to lecture both on the national and international circuit and helped to develop podiatry in the Middle East, particularly in relation to the surgical management of the diabetic foot. He is a senior lecturer in ultrasound studies at Bournemouth University Centre for Ultrasound Studies.
The essential relationship between conditions of the foot and abnormalities in gait (walking and running) has led him to build a state of the art gait laboratory at The London Podiatry Centre. This is one of the most advanced, dedicated podiatric gait analysis facilities in the world today and allows for the accurate diagnosis of many types of injury.
Most recently, Ron has been a professional expert and advisor for the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) in relation to the management of Morton’s neuroma. NICE is the key organisation that guides both NHS and private medicine and has acquired a high reputation internationally as a role model for the development of clinical guidelines. Ron has acted as an expert both in relation to ablative radiofrequency, and most recently in June 2022, he was an expert in providing guidance on the use of cryosurgery for the management of Morton’s neuroma.
Ron is a published author on surgical techniques.
Nutan brings extensive expertise having worked with both international and national footballers and has provided specialised podiatric care to numerous Premiership players and contributed to the England football team's medical support. In addition, Nutan further bolsters the service by providing off-site assistance to the director.
Pablo graduated from the highly regarded university of Barcelona in 2001. He has 20 years of experience both in the private sector and NHS. He has postgraduate studies in podiatric medicine (PG Certificate in Podiatric Theory at Brighton University) and Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound for Podiatrists (foot and ankle) at the Centre of Ultrasound studies (Bournemouth University).
In his role in the NHS, he held an extended scope practitioner post at the Homerton University Hospital where he worked treating complex biomechanical cases.
Over the years, Pablo has gained a great deal of expertise and specialised in podiatric sports injuries, biomechanics and clinical gait analysis. He has always had great interest in the diabetic foot (treatment and prevention of foot complications).
He has treated professional athletes from differing sporting professions which include tennis players, golfers, track athletes and professional premier league football players. He provides regular podiatry care to several premiership football teams including Crystal Palace FC.
Pablo is fully trained and experienced with the use of foot and ankle ultrasound scan.
Rob holds a BSc in Podiatric Medicine, a Post Graduate Certificate in Podiatric Sports Medicine from the Queen Mary University of London, and a master's degree in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery.
Rob specialises in diagnosing and treating complex musculoskeletal injuries and clinical gait analysis. Rob is also accredited to perform steroid injections, skin surgery procedures, such as excisional biopsies and advanced nail surgery procedures.
Patricia joined the practice in 2018 and brings many years of experience working as an administrator in the health and insurance industries.
Patricia is able to assist in booking the most appropriate appointment for your presenting condition and will be able to answer your questions in regards to the services we offer.
Patricia also supports gait analysis and is highly skilled at it.
Nina brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team as our dedicated Care Quality Commission (CQC) Coordinator. With a strong background in administration, Nina plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director to ensure that our organisation meets and exceeds the stringent standards set by the Care Quality Commission.
As our CQC Coordinator, Nina is responsible for overseeing all aspects of CQC compliance, from conducting internal audits and assessments to liaising with colleagues to implement best practices and continuously improve our standards of care.
In addition to her regulatory responsibilities, Nina is involved in other aspects of the business including administration support, marketing, and the production of clinical reports. She is dedicated to providing excellent customer service off-site, ensuring that patients and their families receive the support and assistance they need, even beyond our facilities. Whether addressing enquiries, resolving concerns, or providing guidance, Nina goes above and beyond to ensure that every interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional care and service.
Originally from South Africa, Nakita has a diverse background in the commercial sector, including experience as a business owner and in bookkeeping.
She also brings valuable HR expertise to her role. Since joining The London Podiatry Centre in January 2024, she has been supporting the team with her skills in financial management, HR, and administration.
Karen has been an administrator with the Centre for over 20 years. Karen plays a key administrate role at the Centre and her responsibilities include accounts , secretarial work and report transcription.
Karen is one of our longest serving members of staff and therefore has an in-depth understanding of the Centre’s operational policies.
Elliot is a physiotherapist with comprehensive experience in all areas of recovery and rehabilitation.
Christopher holds a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Galway, an MSc in Rheumatology from the University of South Wales, and a Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound for Podiatrists qualification from AECC Bournemouth.
With over 10 years of experience in all aspects of podiatry, Christopher has developed a particular focus on musculoskeletal medicine, including paediatric conditions.
He currently works in the NHS as an Extended Scope Practitioner in Rheumatology and Paediatrics, where he diagnoses and treats a range of rheumatological and complex biomechanical cases.
Christopher also practises at The London Podiatry Centre, mainly on Saturdays.
